Gregory Ian Ray, 56, passed away Monday, April 18, 2022 surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with Cancer. He was born May 26, 1965 in Dearborn, Michigan. Greg graduated from Southfield High School in 1983 and attended Michigan State University. He went on to expand the family business in North Carolina. Greg was preceded in death by his Father John Ray, brother Aeron Ray, Paternal Grandparents Edwin and Dorothy Ray, and Maternal Grandparents Thomas and Bernice Nolan.

Greg was known for his beautiful smile, kind and giving heart, his wittiness, and dedication to his business. In his free time Greg enjoyed spending time with his kids, playing golf, and watching sports.

Greg is survived by his children Ian and Kaylee Ray; Best friend and Mother of his children Brenda Ray; his Mother Damaris Ray; Brothers John Ray (Lisa) and Steve Ray (Carole); Sister Nicole Parks (Kevin); Mother in law Nell Vick; Brother in law Randy Vick (Nancy); Sister in law Traci Harris (Chuck); nephews Eric, Christopher, Kyle, Mitchell, Thomas, and Peyton: nieces Lindsay, Haley, Pamela, Damaris, Olivia, Lainey, and Allie; great niece Emma; and great nephew Thomas.

Greg was loved by all who knew him and will be missed greatly as his precious life was cut way too short. Greg will forever and always be remembered in our hearts accompanied with many immense memories.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Michigan.
