I met Greg in High School.   He was larger than life, and always a positive presence every where he went.   Greg only got better as life went on, and stayed true to his friends going all the way back to Dulles.    I think we were all taken aback at his unexpected passing, as he seemed almost indestructible.    We will miss you, Greg.   You made the world a better place.

I'm so shocked and saddened to find out about Greg's passing. We usually spoke at least once a month and just was wondering why we hadn't spoken since early May when I heard the tragic news today. Greg was truly a one-of-kind friend that loved life and family.  I'll always remember and treasure the history and football related trips that we took together -- the final one last Fall when we went to Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia and Mississippi.

Greg was a special classmate and loved having the reunions. He will be missed so much but his memory and spirit will live on forever

On behalf of Houston Oilers  and Tennessee Titans and its ownership, we wish to offer Greg’s family and loved ones our deepest condolences and warmest regards.  Both organizations hold all of former Oilers players in high esteem.  I would appreciate being advised of the date, time and place of any memorial service so that a representative of Houston Oilers can be present in person to offer our sympathies and pay our respects.  Steve Underwood, Senior Advisor to the Controlling Owner and former President, Tennessee Titans

Greg was a giant of friend to me, I'm so blessed to have known him.  Although I knew of him in high school, I didn't actually get to know him till 2016.  My heart aches for this loss but the memories I have are forever.  Love you my friend. My deepest condolences and prayers for his family and sons whom he loved so dearly. Peace be with you.
Greg was truly the glue that kept us Dulles peeps together. I have so many fond memories of lunches at Lopez and dinners at Eduardo's. Many long chats on the phone about everything under the sun! He loved his History. Such a gentle giant and loving soul. My Deepest condolences to his family. He was always talking about his boys and going to their games. My heart aches.  Ann Finley
Dear Greg. You kept all your high school friends together for many years. You were the anchor whom rallied all those good times for all of us whom wanted to stay in touch. Everything truly said has been done so in this obituary.  We will keep you in our memories for many years. You were a friend to all of us.  Thank you for all you did.

Greg was a good friend of mine who will truly be missed. I enjoyed our lunches at Lopez and Eduardo’s. He was the best. May he rest in peace.

It was a wonderful time on the beach at Surfside for a class reunion with Greg in 2022. We had so much fun laughing and talking. I'll miss Greg getting us together. My condolences to yall.
