My condolences to Gregory's family. I first met Gregory at VT when we were on the same hall together.  He was an extraordinary individual even then.  We didn’t keep in touch but for some reason, he made quite an impression on me and I feel like I remember all of our conversations.   I once thought I saw him on a sailboat across from me in a race in Maryland but was never sure.  So sorry for your loss.  I was shocked to see the note in the VT magazine.   He sounded like he had a wonderful life with his family.
Carolyn, I came across Greg’s obituary in the Alcalde.  I’m so saddened to hear of his passing. He led an exemplary life grounded on family, faith and professional accomplishments. The charity you selected is a good one that does so much good

Dear Carolyn and family,

I am so sorry to hear of Greg's passing.  I remember you all from St Andrew's in Austin TX.  I could tell how much love you had for each other especially the few times I saw you dancing together.  It did not surprise me when I read that you danced before going to bed.  I know it will not be easy going on without him and know with the love he gave you all that he will continue to live in your hearts forever.  Many hugs and blessings to you as you continue through this very difficult time.  With Love, Sandy Beck

If it is true that one is known forever by the tracks we leave, Greg will truly be remembered by everyone his life touched as the generous husband, father, grandfather, and man he was.
Carolyn and family, this was the most heartbreaking news to receive, though we trust that the many friends and family of Greg are providing powerful support at this time. Greg was an outstanding individual who will truly be missed. He remains an inspiration for everyone, through the incredible love and life he achieved while he was here. Our deepest condolences, Krista, Bill, Kara, and Jace.

The Serco ETSS Team

Sending thoughts and prayers to all of Greg's family, friends, and extensive network of professional relationships.  I worked closely with Greg and was so inspired not only by his deep technical competence but easy demeanor even when the problems were hard.  He approached his work with the same integrity and enthusiasm that so many others have shared in their memories.  Greg's passing is truly a loss for many - in the Ed Tech community, we will the gap that he leaves behind but also will remember his contributions and the fantastic person that Greg was.

Greg was such a phenomenally positive person! I was so lucky to have met him about eight years ago in San Francisco for dinner after not having seen him for 32 years since high school! He shared all good things about his family and Carolyn, and his current interests.  It was so wonderful to catch up! Upon hearing of his diagnosis, I was in frequent touch with him by WhatsApp, and it was always a joy to talk to him. There’s no question, that he was taken from us  far too early.  I will always hold him dear in my heart, and send my deepest condolences to Carolyn and his children.
