Gregory's obituary

Gregory Lowe, 71, entered the Kingdom of God on March 28, 2022. Born to Curtis Lowe Jr. and Carol Charles Lowe, he was the second of five children. Mother, father, and brother Curtis Lowe III preceded him in death.

Greg accepted Jesus Christ at a young age. He lived as a believer that salvation and eternal life were promised gifts from our Lord and Heavenly Father.

After graduation from John F. Kennedy High School, Cleveland Ohio, Greg attended Kent State University, Boston College, and DeKalb College. He retired from Metro Atlanta Regional Transit Authority (MARTA) as rail supervisor.

He was especially passionate about fishing. He enjoyed listening to jazz, gardening, and spending time with his friends and family.

We will remember his big heart, kindness towards those he loved, and steadfast care for his family.

Greg will leave his loving, devoted companion Loretta Williams and daughter Yvette Lewis to mourn his passing. Siblings Cynthia Lowe Colin, Cheryl Lowe, and Greta Lowe will always cherish his beloved memory. Nieces and nephews, LaShona Peterson, Levorio “Tony” Colin, Marlon Clemons, Carrie Colin, Christopher “David” Colin, Ciara Lowe, and Gregory Lowe; nine great nieces and nephews will grieve the loss of their dear uncle. A host of extended family and special friends are greatly saddened.
