It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gregory Lawrence, who was born on July 24, 1956, and passed away on September 29, 2023.

Gregory, renowned for his loving, caring, enthusiastic, and often goofy personality, left an indelible impression on everyone he met. He was a steadfast believer in the power of self-belief and taught those around him to never give up or allow others' perceptions to define them.

His legacy is one of kindness and compassion, best depicted through his greatest achievement: providing unconditional love and support to his family. His strength and commitment to never giving up were remarkable, a source of inspiration for all.

Gregory was a man of simple pleasures. His favorite foods included fried chicken, paired perfectly with lemonade, his preferred drink. He was a fan of Gospel music, sci-fi shows, and movies, showing his diverse tastes. A devout Colts fan, he enjoyed watching sports and participating in family games of Uno. Outside of entertainment, his hobbies included sewing and spending precious time chatting with his children and grandchildren.

While Gregory was a homebody, his favorite vacation spot was the beach, where he enjoyed the serene surroundings and the opportunity to unwind. His favorite color was green, perhaps reflecting his love for life and growth. Devoutly committed to his church, he was also known for the causes he cared about, providing a poignant reminder of his generous spirit.

Gregory leaves behind his mother Dorothy Lawrence and his Dad James Lawrence. Gregory also leaves behind his daughter, Alecha Lawrence, and son, Giovanni Lawrence. He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren Taylah S., Brielle S., Karter S., and Kaylyn P. Their beloved grandfather's memory will continue to live on through them.
