I got to know Greg n the late 90’s, while serving as chapter alumni advisor for Epsilon Mu. Greg was a great example for the brothers and a truly caring person. He accomplished a lot in his professional career, but never stopped giving back to Lambda Chi Alpha. He will be truly missed, but his contributions will not be forgotten.
Although I never got a chance to meet you Doc, thank you for mentoring my son Anthony.  He will be graduating from U Penn dental on Monday. My condolences to Doc’s family and all those who knew him.

My stepson is graduating on Monday May 15, 2023, and owes much of his success to your mentorship, friendship, encouragement and support.  Your guidance was appreciated more than you could imagine.  We are sorry you wont be here to receive the photo of him making it into dental school.    If there were more people like you in this world it would be a much better place.  Rest in eternal peace sir.  Thank you

My deepest condolences to the family of Dr. Smith. He was an enormous influence in my life. He suggested I join the U.S. Navy, and was my number one mentor during undergrad and dental school. His dedication to his profession and mentorship, and his unconditional love for his family and late wife Perky, were his finest qualities. I aspire to follow in his footsteps. Rest in Peace, Doc.

Thank you for the well deserved beautiful obituary. Greg was one of the first clinical faculty members I worked with as a member of the Charter class. I will always appreciate his passion for teaching and his encouragement. I heard at the 50year reunion that he was not doing well. I received the news with great sadness. He was also my Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity brother where he served as a faculty advisor at my EM chapter. He sought after and honored me by hiring me to serve as a adjunct faculty member, where I volunteered for 4 years. He also got to teach my son, Adam, while he was at UF and came to Orlando for Adam's wedding with his wife Perky. We became very close. Unfortunately, I will be out of the country for the mass at Holy Faith; the same church where Shelley and I got married. There were so many ties that we discovered through the years. He will be greatly missed.
