Gregory's obituary
Greg lived a life of service to others by becoming a United Methodist minister, who worked in a variety of appointments to help those in need. He was the first associate pastor for Melbourne United Methodist Church, a lobbyist for social justice issues at Florida Impact, the Chaplain at The Florida United Methodist Children’s Home, the Florida Area Representative for Heifer Project International, the Associate Dean of Student Services at Duke Divinity School, and an administrator at The Center for Child and Family Health. His passions included: religion, Duke sports, music, history, movies, and politics. He will be sorely missed by those who loved him, but we rejoice in knowing he is now resting in the loving arms of Jesus. His favorite Bible verse, Romans 8:38–39, comforts us: “For I am convinced that nothing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
A private celebration of his life will take place later this year.
