It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Greg Dugger on December 04, 2023. Greg was an outstanding police officer in Harker Heights, Killeen and Dallas for over 32 years.  In his retirement he has lit up the lives of our community in Venice, FL. Greg was known not only to be a dedicated and intelligent officer/detective…but to be a loving, happy, smiling, hugging guy who always made you feel welcome and seen. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Michelle (Nickolan) Dugger; His beautiful daughter, Alexandria Dugger, who always made him happy and proud;  Alexandria's daughter (Greg's first grandchild and absolute apple of his eye) Leona Faye Rash; Alexandria's loving and supportive partner, Aaron Rash; and his siblings, Barbara Hawthorne and Gary Dugger of Killeen, TX. There will be no services for Greg as per his wishes. He prefers everyone remember and honor him in whatever way they see fit and did not wish anyone to grieve over him. He will be cremated and his ashes shared between his wife and daughter so we can honor him every day. He will be missed beyond belief and our lives will be forever changed.   Greg will always be the best man we ever met and I only hope he knows that wherever he is.
