To Amie, Jacob, Rachel and Rebecca - My heartfelt condolences on the passing of your husband and father, Dr. Cohen.  It was an honor to have worked with him and his wife through educational meetings in the local school district.  He will be sorely missed.  Sincerely, Janet Chillingworth
My condolences to Dr. Greg Cohen's family. I first met Dr. Greg Cohen in 1989 after he graduated from medical school. At that time, he was a first year psychiatry resident at Los Angeles County +USC Medical Center and I was an attending psychiatrist on the inpatient ward and program director for forensic psychiatry fellowship. He always showed an interest in forensic psychiatry, in addition to general psychiatry. After he graduated from general psychiatry residency in June 1993, I was happy that he decided to join our forensic fellowship from 1993-1994, along with his classmate, Dr. Jeff Peterson. Since graduation, Dr. Cohen has had a successful career practicing general psychiatry and forensic psychiatry, providing expert forensic psychiatric opinions to the legal system, specifically at the L.A. County Mental Health Court. When any of our forensic fellows graduate, they become part of our academic family. Dr. Cohen has always been helpful when asked to contribute to the forensic psychiatry fellowship, such as providing forensic psychiatric coverage at the Los Angeles County Mental Health Court for our forensic fellows when they were away and providing informal mentorship. Our forensic psychiatry family (e.g., Dr. Bruce Gross, Dr. Linda Weinberger, Dr. Kal Sharma, Dr. Talene Keshishian, Dr. Lorraine Cuadra, Dr. Gregory Leong, Professor Dave Meyer, and many other graduates who worked and respected Dr. Cohen) will miss him and his kind spirit. Our condolences to Dr. Cohen's family and may he rest in peace. Shalom.

To Amie, Rachel, Rebekah, Jacob, and all our beloved cousins who love Greg , we are with you today in our thoughts and prayers. I will always remember Greg lovingly as an adorable 12 year old playing his guitar and singing with fun and exuberance.                   " The Lord is near to the brokenhearted"    Psalm 34:18

With our love and heartfelt sympathy,

Kerry Winslow Menas and family

Amie and kids, Robert, and Dana… we’re so saddened to hear about Greg’s passing. You all remain in our prayers.

We now picture him reuniting with Granny and Gramps, Uncle Joe and Aunt Peggy, my mom and dad, and Aunt Jane and Uncle John… in perfect happiness and joy. ❤️

May God bless you and give you peace in this difficult time.
