Greg volunteered to help me coach a boys basketball team when our sons were in the 7th or 8th grade? Like everyone else has mentioned, I don’t think I’ve ever met a person with a kinder, more positive persona than Greg had. It was a pleasure to spend time with him. Great smile, great person! After graduating college Greg found out I would be moving to Lake Tahoe. He said how much he would love to visit, so like any of my friends parents I offered an open invitation. Little did I know that Greg would actually visit, multiple times! This is when Greg and I formed a friendship outside of the one with his son, Matt. Every time he visited he asked me to take him on the biggest and baddest mountain bike trails. Although nervous for Matt and Kaity, I would oblige. And every time he impressed me on how he would keep up and push us young bucks. That was until he would sit in the car and fall asleep instantly, every time. Since then Greg has been a friend, father and overall inspiration the way he could connect and relate to my generation. I have strived to be that ever since that first bike trip.
