Gregory's obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gregory "Man man" Bolden Jr., affectionately known as Man man, who left us on May 2, 2023. Born on February 26, 2001, Gregory preferred to go by his given name and was a bright light in the lives of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed.

Gregory was a happy, intelligent, and hardworking individual who always strived for excellence. His personal mantra, "Never say you can't, you can overcome anything" inspired those around him to push through obstacles and believe in their own capabilities.

Throughout his all-too-short life, Gregory achieved many milestones. A proud high school graduate, he went on to attend college and later found fulfillment in his work as a waterman on the docks. His unyielding dedication and commitment to every task left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

The legacy of Gregory's love, strength, and determination will live on through his son, who will always carry the memory of his father's wisdom, passion, and kindness. Gregory will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, and his memory will forever be cherished by the countless lives he touched.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donating to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Funds are being raised in Gregory's memory, and donations can be made at the following website: https://everloved.com/life-of…

May Gregory "Man man" Bolden Jr. rest in peace, and may his spirit continue to inspire and comfort those who loved him most.
