Greg's obituary
Gregory Alan Birr, 68, of Columbia Heights, Minn., passed away peacefully with his family at his side, after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, January 8, 2024, at M Health Fairview Hospital in Minneapolis, Minn.
Greg was born April 21, 1955, in Minneapolis to Albert and LuVerne (Klein) Birr, Sr. On Feb. 22, 1986, he married Lona K. Pantzar at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Roseville, Minn., and they have celebrated nearly 38 years of marriage together.
Music was a huge part of Greg’s life. He was an incredible guitar player and a member of several bands. Greg was a lover of hotrods and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
