Gregory Gunn, 43, of Miami, FL, passed away suddenly on October 9, 2024, after a hard-fought battle with kidney failure. His family and friends are shocked and deeply saddened by his loss.

Born on July 29, 1981, in New York to Maggali and Syndey Gunn, Gregory developed a lifelong passion for music. He was actively involved in various facets of the entertainment industry, from producing his own music to contributing to radio and television.

Gregory’s greatest pride and joy was his son, Sebaschen. The love he had for his son was evident in every conversation, a testament to the strong bond they shared.

He was also very close to his mother, Maggie, who preceded him in death on May 7, 2024. Their connection was profound and enduring.

Gregory made an impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Whether to family or a new acquaintance, he had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel seen, important, and most of all, loved.

The world became a little dimmer with Gregory’s passing, but those of us left behind find comfort in knowing he is now pain-free in paradise with his mother and all those who have gone before him. He will forever remain in our hearts and spirits.

Gregory is survived by his son Sebaschen Woodard, father Sydney Gunn,  aunts Carole Duverneau and Michelle Duverneau Carries, cousin Tamara Charles, cousin Patrick Charles and family, cousin Richard Carries, and cousin Antoinette Duverneau-Dicken and family. 

To honor Gregory, let us strive to embody his legacy by walking through life with love for all those around us.
