Greggory, 36, of Baton Rouge, LA passed away suddenly on Monday, Oct. 10, 2022.   His family is shocked and deeply saddened by his loss.

Greggory was born on October 03, 1986 to Greggory Delane and Karen Hodgeson Butler in Gonzales, LA.  After graduating 3rd in his class from East Ascension High School in 2005,  Greggory attended Louisiana State University with a focus in Computer Science??  He played football and was a wrestler at EAHS.  He was among the first group to start this sport at East Ascension High School under Coach Mahoney.  He also loved music and played the saxophone at Gonzales Middle School and East Ascension High School under Ms. Patty Rousell.  He had many hobbies including saltwater fishing which he did from the time he could hold a fishing pole at 2 years old with his father in Cocodrie.  He also loved golf, skiing, hiking, and anything outside.  He had an immense passion for Louisiana and had a deep respect and love for the culture of downtown Baton Rouge. He was always a source of positive energy, love and support.  He truly was living his best life among many many wonderful loving friends.  He was a hard worker, a talented chef and a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, and most of all friend. He would drop everything to help someone in need,  give you the shirt off his back and not care if it was freezing outside.  He loved his dog so much  

He loved spending time with his many many close friends and family.   He was a bright and kind individual. He had an immense passion for [passion] and was always a source of positivity. His family and friends will miss him more than words can say.
