Gregg Coveny, 57, of Lakehurst, entered eternal rest on July 14.

Gregg was born in Dunedin, Florida to William and Harriet (Bonnett) Coveny, and grew up in Jamesburg, New Jersey. Gregg was a graduate of Monroe Township High School and Middlesex County College. Gregg worked in accounting at MarketSource and later Budd Van Lines for most of his career.

Gregg is survived by his parents, Harriet and Bill, cherished children Sarah and Patrick Coveny, his sister Gwen Coveny and her partner Timothy Conner, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Gregg enjoyed music, playing guitar and drums for many years. He loved live music shows and attending concerts. Gregg was also an avid fan of sports, specifically the NY Yankees and NY Giants. He was a devoted father, son, and brother - taking his kids to baseball games, teaching them how to drive, introducing them to classic rock, and treating them to many ice cream sundaes. He was very devoted to his parents, helping them through many challenges in their later years. Gregg’s children, parents, and sister were a guiding light for him through many of life’s hardships. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and ability to make people laugh.

All are welcome to attend a memorial service to be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in 79 One Mile Road Ext., East Windsor, New Jersey on September 6, 2025 at 11:00AM.
