As Greg would walk with Angel by my house daily, he would see me in the middle of different projects and usually had a vailed nugget of wisdom regarding my endeavors.  This particular time I was working on my 50 year old boat, He said, with his very toothy smile, " In my experience, if ya put another $1000.00 into it, looks like you'll have a nice $500 boat."  I appreciated that!

I enjoyed our conversations very much.

I am so sorry to hear that Greg (my childhood friend) and your husband has passed .

I wish your family the best.  You and your family will be in my prayers

Condolences and prayers to Greg’s family.  I graduated from the CHP Academy with him, saw it was his birthday today and was going to wish him a happy one.  He was a good man. Again, my condolences and prayers to his family.

We are saddened by this news, we have been out of touch with Val and Greg for too long.  We were lucky enough to have their help in getting us married in Tahoe on 2000.  God bless the family.  CAROL VOCKE, MARY MOORE
So sorry for your loss.
I have many fond memories of Greg.
May he rest in peace!

Greg and I went to high school together. His smile is one I will never forget.  I have enjoyed seeing all these pictures of Greg. May he rest in peace.

My deepest condolences to Greg's family. I first met Greg around 1979-1980 in San Diego, thru Garland (Bubba) Chandler. I had the pleasure of being room mates with them for a couple of months. Greg (Sly, as I was first introduced to him), was quick witted, had a wonderful sense of humor, and always a big smile. I felt I was at a comedy store whenever he, Bubba, Herbie, and Mike got together and went back and forth, never a dull moment. I last talked to Greg about a year ago and he shared that he was in a good place in his life. He was happy to be able to go fishing and be with his family, especially his grandchildren. He touched my life in a meaningful way. May the Lord comfort and strengthen those he has left behind.
I am so sorry for your loss, My late husband, Gary Bandhauer, worked with Greg in Bishop, also Doug Manning, sends his condolences, he worked with him in Lone Pine, for about the last six months Doug and I have been talking about and reminiscing about him, we even tried to look him up on Facebook cause Doug really wanted to talk to him, we are so heartbroken over your loss, our hearts and prayers are with you 😢

Greg,

My brother n law!!! Was funny, loud, a realist.. and just loved people. It was the best part of his character; He didn’t meet any strangers.. in my traveling from La. to marry into the family! Greg made everything around me & my family comfortable because he was just himself..!! I didn’t know anyone… So Greg, I thank you for being kindhearted. Rest on Brother n Law you will be missed.

I was riding with my Grandmother when the car broke down just outside Lone Pine, CA. The year of 1988 is approximate. It was night time & we were so happy when a CHP pulled up behind us. He checked to see if we were ok & needed a help. He offered us a ride into town where we lived. I can't remember many details cause I was very young but I do remember he was very friendly & very nice. I ended up being good friends with Christina who I recently found & reconnected with after a very long time of wondering how she was. Greg made a positive lasting impact & memory in my life. May he rest in peace.
My condolences to Greg's family. I first met Greg when I began dating Michael Zukaitis.  I have so many great memories with Greg.  He always had great advice.  I remember every weekend when Tyler was a baby Michael and I would go to ridgecrest to visit and Greg would get home from work and tell us that he clocked us speeding down the highway.  He would always have that great smile on his face.  I always loved when we would all be together with Clark and Julie.  Greg and Clark would have us laughing.  He will be very missed.
