Greg and Jackie are our neighbors. We’ve lived next door for almost 4 years. They came over to introduce themselves and very quickly became the BEST neighbors a family could ever ask for. Greg was the kindest and most giving and gentle man I have ever known! He showered both of our daughters with gifts on their birthdays, and gifted our newborn daughter all kinds of things when we brought her home from the hospital. He was always sure to say hello and ask us how we’re doing. He spoke about his kids and grandkids as though they were the light of his life! He was just a very kind soul and my family and I were beyond blessed to know him!!! I’ll never forget his kindness and passion for lending a hand. And there will never be another neighbor who lives up to the Greg-Standard! He was the BEST! And we will miss him dearly. Prayers for his children, grandchildren, and most of all, for sweet Jackie ❤️

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Greg, he sure knew how to light up the room as well be stern when needed. Greg was an amazing person over the years I've known him! Great father, husband, a friend and a boss. He will be missed by us all.. he had a heart of gold from my run ins with him as well as being loving, and kind. My heart is with you all in this time of need. I can say it was an honor and privilege to have known him.

Greg was my best friend and I’m heart broken and his passing has left an empty space in my life.  We were just like brothers growing up. If you wanted to find one of us you just had to check his mom and dad’s house or my mom and dad’s!  After we got older we didn’t talk as often as we used to but whenever we did get in touch we would talk just like no time had passed at all.  I’m so sorry for Jackie and Rocky Meagan  and Brandon, and of course his grandchildren!  I can only imagine the sadness that you are feeling right now!  But I’m 100 percent certain that he’s in heaven right now and we’ll see him again one day!!!

I just wanted to write and say what an amazing person my little brother Greg was. He was five years younger than me, and number five of six kids. I remember him as always being such a sweet, curious, and creative little kid. He would draw the cutest pictures in the style of ancient Egyptian drawings. I’ve never seen a child do that! As he grew older, he never lost that sweet attitude or his creativity. As an adult he was a big fan of Nicolas Tesla. I was astounded at some of the things he did around his home using Tesla’s work. He never wanted any recognition, but just reminded me that you can do anything you set your mind to. He was such an intelligent, awesome person! But even with all that he accomplished - some I’m sure we’ll never even know about - he was always so quiet and humble. His focus and loyalty was always family first. We love him and miss him dearly.

So sorry for the loss of another second cousin.   Blessings to all the family.  I am Greg’s second cousin, first cousin to their mother Iola, but don’t remember meeting him.  I know Marlene, Joyce,  Bobby  and had the pleasure of having Eric in third grade when doing student teaching. A nice family!

May you remember the good times and always love each other.  Deanna Frye

When we were young still living at home.  Greg would wake me up at night just to tell me jokes when he could sleep. I got so tire of hearing jokes but what I would give just to hear one right now.
