Background
The Kennedy family is deeply saddened to announce the sudden loss of their daughter, Grace Sofia.
Grace, 17, was a senior at Canon Mac High School and was excited to graduate this upcoming spring and venture off to college. At the time of her passing she was deciding on following her mother and step-mother into education and helping children or going into geriatrics in order to help the aging population. He compassion for others knew no bounds.
She was an amazing person with a beautiful heart, strong will and a passion for life.
While our hearts are broken, the amount of support and love shown by friends, classmates, our local community and colleagues has been overwhelming. With that in mind, the family is setting up a memorial fund in Grace's memory with the funds to be distributed to the local community and school district as we believe she would have wanted.
