Grace was my boss for 9 1/2 years. She taught this rookie so much about accounting and dealings with internal departments. She honored her work and felt she must be there even when she kept being told to take time off. We would sit and discuss for hours on how to work out problems and transactions, all the while she is peeling grapes - completely skinned grapes! Or she would be at her desk and using the bike pedals underneath. She bought all of us the whimsical smiling flowers, and loved having smiley faces around in her office. She daily 'cleaned' with vinegar and used copious amounts of honey in her tea so her office always smelled like vinegar and honey. We took several trips to College Station for training and she insisted on going the long way to enjoy the scenery. I did convince her to go the shorter way as the scenery is just as good. She was one of the best bosses and I was honored to work for her.
I am proud to say , that my work was at Treehouse Art along with Grace's. That is an honor in itself.
I wish I had known her better. I missed out on knowing someone really special

Remembering her in my prayers and hoping to purchase a piece of her art at the Treehouse..

I know she will be missed in Corpus Christi.

Mark, Bill and Irene Kellogg were helpful friends of the organization Grace funded for the University cats. We loved assisting Grace day by day in caring and sheltering these sweet animals sent to us from our Lord. The poet Samuel Coleridge once described friendship as a 'sheltering tree',~~ a beautiful description of that special relationship for Grace. A great sheltering tree that stands for goodness ...That is a friend....Grace was.
Love to the family, Irene, Bill and Mark Kellogg of Corpus Christi-
