Background
Grace's first language was Chinese due to growing up in China as a child of missionaries. She came to the United States as a 19 year old and had to adapt as if she were from another country. Though she was a US citizen, she grew up in China. Grace always had a heart for the child who was struggling because she knew what it was to struggle. As a kindergarten teacher and youth group leader her heart was for children to know Jesus as their personal Savior, number one. Secondly she wanted children to have help with their education and ability to read. Envision Atlanta does both things that were close to Grace's heart, helps children know the love of Jesus, and help children with education and adapting to their new country in the after school program .
