Grace was born in West Virginia in 1962. She completed a PhD in political science at Iowa State University before moving to Texas and then Kentucky, where she met her husband, Paul. Known for her amazing sense of humor and storytelling, Grace had a laugh that could brighten any room. A keen observer of nature, Grace loved camping and a highlight of her life was a 5 month bike tour through the NE United States and Canada with Paul and their beloved dog, Ginger. In 2011 Grace and Paul moved to Minneapolis and in 2015, Grace was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. She faced the disease, among other medical challenges, the way she lived her life - with courage and class. She died peacefully, with Paul buy her side. Grace is survived by her husband of 20 years, Paul, step-son Max, sisters Kim and Melissa and many. other loving family members and friends, whose lives she touched.,
