Condolences on the loss of Gordon. I have memories of visits with him and his children at our home in Calgary. Wish our families had stayed in touch. <3
One of my earliest recollections of Uncle Gordon was a chance encounter on my way home from grade 2 one day in the late 1950s. He was strolling along a cross street and stopped and greeted me like an old friend. I can’t recall the conversation- probably about school - but when we parted he handed me a nickel and walked away whistling. Always kind and ready to tell a tale. Never knew him as well as should have been, but I feel his loss. Condolences and hugs to my cousins and his partner in life.
Gordan always greeted me with a smile whenever I pulled up to the farm with my children. Had many long conversations with him . He met my family that lives overseas when they were in Vernon visiting and would always ask how they were every time he saw me. I appreciated Gordans kindness to my oldest daughter who spent many years of her life at there farm. My condolences to his family 💐. Wendy&Fatima
