Lee and his family were my neighbors growing up. We played basketball in my backyard, walked the neighborhood and talked and walked the neighborhood on Halloween, my birthday, to see all the kids trick or treating. Even went to doors to get candy when we wanted it even though we weren’t in costume and were older. Our neighbors were kind 😂😂 Lee could dance like James Brown and was the hit of the junior high sock hops.  A lot of fond memories of Lee. He was a great person and friend. Loved him dearly.

One of THE best from our high school days...there are times I really am thankful for FB otherwise so many re-connections would never have occurred....AND as mentioned in an earlier comment...Lee's golf picture, along with this golf team pals at USCA, is permanently displayed in the lobby of the USCA Convocation Center.

My deepest condolences to the family, Lee was my neighbor and friend, I will never forget that giant smile 😃 welcoming me to the neighborhood, 💐.                          Fellow Mississippians🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
My husband, Randy, was Lee’s golf coach at USCA. Through all of their golf outings they became good friends with Randy visiting with him & Cathy when they lived in Florida. Lee had THE best sense of humor & was always so much fun to be around.  My prayers will be lifted for his family!

Lee was a man’s man. We would talk all the time on the phone especially when he was driving. He loved taking those trips to different dealerships. Our calls made his trips seem shorter. He never let me forget he was a minimalist and how happy it made him. He loved staying busy. He was confident and disciplined.  His voice would become soft when he discussed his grandchildren. I will miss his phone calls. He would light up my day. Our friendship was much too short. Later, goofy pop.

Very sad news. Lee was a teddy bear in high school and the girls liked him 😊 He was a nice guy!  God bless him. Go Cocks!
Lee was a very kind, considerate and caring man.  He will be missed.  My condolences to his family.  I was blessed to have known him and work with him.

So sorry to hear of Lee’s passing. I knew Lee for many years - working together. Always considered him a close and loyal friend. Lee will be missed.

Sending condolences to all his family.

Very sorry to hear about Lee’s passing. We were friends when he lived in Augusta and North Augusta many years ago.
I was very sad to hear that my friend Lee had passed on to be with the Lord.  He was best friends with my older brother Robert, and me being younger I always tried to follow Lee and Robert around. We grew up in North Augusta, SC and one time all three of us got caught fishing in Mr. McKie's pond, which we were not supposed to be there.  Lee had just landed a huge largemouth bass before old man Mckie caught us. And another memory I have is the North Augusta Yellow Jacket Dune Buggy that Lee drove around town. A modified Volkswagen that his father,  Bonner,  had made for him.  It was Black and Gold, our High School colors with a wooden hand made body. I'm not so sure it would be allowed on the roads today. These memories I have of Lee will always be with me. I am glad I got to visit with him last summer. He has been taken from us too soon, but I know he was a believer in Christ and one day we shall see him again. I will miss you brother. Go Gamecocks, and God Bless your family, Sincerely, Tommy Rogers
