Our hearts are so broken and we miss Gordon tremendously. I can't stop thinking about the fun we had as kids together and how smart, cute and fun he was to be around. Those moments and his smile will live in my heart forever. Praying you are at peace and with family in heaven who are looking after you.

You will be greatly missed but your memory will be in my heart forever.

Dear Corsetti family, we are deeply saddened by the loss of your son and brother.

We fell in love with Gordon from day one. We will always remember the sparkle in his eyes and his infectious smile. We can't imagine how you're doing right now. But we want you to know that we are here for you! We are extremely grateful that we were able to get to meet such a wonderful and great person. Gordon made the world a better place and we noticed that in every message and felt it in every call. We are so glad and thankful that our daughter/my sister has found such a great person. Gordon loved our Lisa so much, with all her quirks and edges. He never wanted to change her and always supported her unconditionally. We want to thank you for welcoming Lisa into your warm and caring family. Gordon is also part of our family and will always have a place in our hearts. We hope Gordon is better off where he is now, hopefully in a nicer place with no dark thoughts. December 2nd now has a more intimate and intense meaning for us, since our baby, whose heart stopped beating much too early in his mother's womb, would have been born on this day. The two guardian angels will watch over us from now on.

We send you a lot of strength, love, many warm hugs. The day tomorrow will certainly be very emotional, sad and intense for you. We wish you only the best for that. It's a beautiful way to commemorate your amazing son and brother by celebrating life and not death.

Love from Germany ♥️🥰😢             Susanne, Willi, Cathrin and Chris

I was so saddened when I heard the news of Gordon's passing...He was a such a great resource, friend, and officiating buddy in my lax world...May his soul rest...and may God's peace continue to sustain his family now and for evermore...
I remember coaching Gordon years ago in AYL. He was a great kid, and I know he made his family proud. Praying for the Corsetti family. May you be surrounded with love and support to journey through this difficult time.
I wasn't too close with Gordon but we knew each other through lacrosse. I've struggled with depression my entire life as well but to a much lesser degree. Gordon was one of a kind. He will be missed

Dear Family, dear Lisa. We are so sorry for your loss. We were so looking forward to finally meeting Gordon in person. The few times we had the chance to talk to Gordon were enough to see what a great person he was.

Gordon, Thank you for making Lisa happy.

I am so sorry for your loss. Such a moving obituary. It sounds like Gordon did everything humanly possible to cope and flourish, which is the best anyone can do. Good on him for sharing his story and using it as a vehicle to help others rather than hiding his condition.

RIP lax brother.

Gordon was always a pleasure to work with on the lacrosse field and a great guy to be around. Mental Agility is a just cause that can still help others. Condolences to all.

Mary Jo,

You and your family are in our prayers.  Lots of love to you all.

Oh Lou, I am just so heartbroken for you and your family, and Gordon. Gordon is an incredibly beautiful human being, inside and out, whose smile lit up the room. So gentle yet strong. I asked Gordon if he would talk to the Perry Hall HS boys lax team and do some yoga with them out at USL. Of course he said yes. To watch him glide through his message with open heart and reassuring words was something to experience. The willingness to show vulnerability as a male is so powerful, and he did it with grace and sincerity with those boys. I’m sure he left an impression on them. As he has done on all of us. May his memory be eternal, his story shared and his legacy honored. I am happy to help any way I can to keep the conversation going. Shine on, sweet Gordo.

Gordon holding our daughter, Elizabeth. His face and gentleness. Just noticed the stained glass window behind him, he had a saint's patience with our children too.

Dear Corsetti Family,

My wife and I are heartbroken for the loss your family has suffered. It was a joy to have Gordon as a mentor and coach in my lacrosse career.

Coach Gordon was like a big brother to me: he was always there to push us, to challenge us both on and off the field. He loved to motivate us with a speech or with lots of conditioning!

Coach Gordon also showed me the importance of community. He and his father seemed to be anywhere there was a lacrosse event. He was always helping out in some way.

Please know that you are in our thoughts and the thoughts of the entire lacrosse community.

God bless you and comfort you,

AJ and Mike Hashimoto

Lou and Mary Jo -- I will never forget Gordon's tenacity when he defended your front yard from the Youth Council hooligans who tried to prank your front yard, back many years ago. I have since gone into the mental health field and appreciate the passion he had for helping others with their own struggles. I hope his work and determination will continue to inspire helpers and to be a support for those who need his spirit to get through the next minutes or hours.

My heart is sad for your family. May you take good care of yourselves and each other even as you take the best care of his legacy.
Words can't describe the sadness in my heart currently. I will miss Gordon more than some can imagine. I am happy to celebrate his accomplish, his life, and more importantly his positive impact on mine.
My first years as an official included consuming the videos that Gordon so generously created and some years later I got a chance to spend a few days with him in Vail at one point as well.  His contributions will live on and I am certainly among a large group who can say without hesitation that our game and my life were made better by Gordon Corsetti. Please have my condolences and comfort in your time of grief and healing.
Gordon was my friend - is my friend. We got to know each other on a training trip and the best thing about the clinic was that a friendship was formed.   Smart, articulate, hard working, uncompromising, humble and sometimes just irreverent enough in his observations to be really funny.  He helped me appreciate the bigger picture, to try to step away from the things we cannot control, and sometimes to not buy into nonsense.  My heart breaks for his family and for all of us who will miss having him in our world.  I wish he could have felt what we all felt for him.  I will focus on picturing him carefree and soaring above us all….
I never met Gordon; I am a fellow NILOA official out District 1 New England and was told that he had his struggles but did the best he could and that is all I needed to know. I'm sorry for your loss.
