Gordon's obituary
As he experienced these big adventures, Gordon dreamed of flying one day. He worked hard at his studies, and after high school, Gordon joined and served in the United States Air Force. He worked overseas on highly-classified assignments. After his service, he became a pilot. His intellectualism and curiosity also motivated him to pursue higher education, and he earned his Ph.D. in Religion from Claremont Graduate University.
Gordon was blessed further with a loving family of his own. He had three beautiful children whom he spoke of proudly: Brittany (who sadly passed at birth), Kristopher and Alyssa. Gordon and his wife, Sianny, shared a love of traveling, taking them across North America, Europe and Asia. They enjoyed dining out and experiencing new things together. They shared endless gatherings, dinners, and holidays with family and friends, and warmly embraced familiar and new faces along the way.
Gordon lived his life with deep conviction and spirituality, which guided him to peace. He is survived, and greatly missed, by his wife Sianny, his children Kristopher and Alyssa, his siblings Vicki, Patti, Scott, Doug, and Cindy, and his father Bert. He also leaves a community of extended family and friends whose lives he has deeply touched, and who mourn him dearly.
“For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven; a time to be born, and a time to die... a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance…” (Ecclesiastes 3:1, 4)
