Gordon was a beacon of hope during my storm…he was a great listener and such a great sponsor. His guidance and kind words helped me remember that I was never alone, that it was ok to love myself, and that no matter how bad things have been yo be grateful for the lessons learned and to grow from them. I’ll miss you my friend. Godspeed.

Gordon Booe was the best uncle anyone could ever ask for. He was there for me through many ups and downs in life. He was always willing to listen without judgment, and gave some wise advice too. He wasn't always serious though, he had an awesome sense of humor and we laughed our butts off together so much through the years! One of my favorite memories is us making up a really silly song 23 years ago when I lived with him during hairschool, and we sang it all through the years! He even helped me sing it on video a couple months ago. Music is the last thing to go in our memory. He is an incredible human, and I know he's up there dancing with Jesus! Love you Uncle Gordon! Rest in peace❤

Gordon, my nephew, was one of the kindest, sweetest men I have ever known.  And, yes, I remember his goofy sense of humor.  I also remember that after I introduced him to someone I loved, he sent me a framed poem about love and commitment.  Gordon, I will miss your light.
I am so sorry to hear about Gordon. He was a kind, caring man who helped so many through his involvement in 12-step programs. I remember him coming to my son’s wedding and then my own wedding, and I appreciate his support in these major milestones. Prayers to all who love him. Rest in peace, Gordon.
I met Gordon 6 yrs ago when i joined Emotions Anonymous. He was a leader who courageously shared his life story, feelings and humorous tales. One thing he reminded me of a lot is  that we are all human and that’s okay- in fact often very funny!  Your obituary is beautifully written .Humbly helping others was his creed. I am grateful to have known Gordon. God bless you in your sorrow.

I am very sad to read this. I loved Gordon very much. He was and still is my second Great Love and I will carry his memory in my heart for the rest of my life.  I hope that he and my late husband Marty have met in heaven. I send my prayers and condolences to his family.
