Glory's obituary
Born January 31, 1956
Died August 24, 2020
64 years old
After graduating from West high School, Glory took a class in Auto repair at Dunwoody.
She studied for two years at Emmaus Bible School when it was located in Oak Park, Illinois.
After some years of childcare and working at a tennis club, Glory became a bus driver for Metro Transit. That was sort of funny because even when Glory was little, she wanted to be a bus driver!
After taking on that bus driver job, she eventually became aware of what a stressful and demanding job it was. Nevertheless, she carried on with that job for over 31 years until she was diagnosed with ALS in January of 2019
The mountains in Rocky Mountain National Park were her happy place. She spent many wonderful times with her sister Jennifer there. She thrived in the outdoors. In her dreams for retirement she wanted to
live in a cabin by a lake.
Glory had a heart of gold and was so generous and thoughtful.
She will be so missed.
In lieu of flowers, Glory would like donations to Hillside Church future ready campaign, or ALS association.
