Gloria's obituary
We are saddened to announce the passing of Gloria Jean Warren on February 20, 2025 after a brief battle with cancer. Gloria embraced life with enthusiasm, marked by her creative, independent spirit and joyous sense of humor.
After spending most of her life in Michigan, she moved to Arizona in 2017 where she fell in love with the sunshine, desert plants, and her wonderful partner, John. She was a devoted caretaker for her mother and treasured spending time with her grandchildren.
Gloria had a beautiful singing voice, perfect cursive, and a enterprising mind for arts and craft projects. She often talked of her time working in a greenhouse when she was young and carried her love of plants throughout her life. Gloria adored adventure, whether it was exploring the open road on her motorcycle, moving across the country, parasailing over Key West, or winning at the casino more often than should be possible. She was a lover of dachshunds and cared for many throughout her life, including her most cherished Murray.
Gloria is survived by her loving partner, John; her mother, Corrine; her children, Steven (Kristin) and Cristy (AJ); and her grandchildren, Quinn and Madilyn.
While we will miss her deeply, we take comfort in knowing that her vibrant spirit will continue to shine through the countless lives she touched.
In lieu of memorial services, the family suggest donations to HappyTails Dachshund Rescue, a cause close to Gloria's heart, in honor of her love for these special companions.
