Gloria Minerva Trujillo Pena. (6/2/1951-2/12/2026).
Gloria M. Trujillo Pena, beloved mother to 5 children, 75 years old, of the San Luis-Yuma Az. She passed away 2/12/2026, of cancer. She left a huge void her to her family.
She was born in Chihuahua in 1951. to Francisca y Jesus Chuchito Trujillo. and became a talented mariachi singer, early on, discovered by the famous Cuco Sanchez. Gloria sang professionally in Mexico, took part in the Andas union for Mexico's singers with contracts all over Mexico opening shows. She was married young and conceived 3 children, later divorced and re-married her second and life-long partner, with whom together bore 2 more children.
Gloria was survived by her husband Ruben Limon, and 5 children: Norma Ray, Luz Aymee Booth, Oscar Galvan, Andres Trujillo, and Paloma Limon. Grand-children: Anthony and Alex Ray. Serena Orozco and Chandler Booth Sebastian and Alexa Galvan. Makayla Bailey, Unika and Angel Limon, & Camila. Silas Limon, Emily & Luna, Elsa, and Sara Limon. Her great-grandchildren: Ariyah and Maleeigha, Malachi, Sayriah, & Andrick.
Also, left her immense forever lasting sadness to her 4 sisters: Ana, Palma, Luz, and Socorro. She always said their company made this life happier! She enjoyed the love and support they provided. Along with the closest nieces and Nephews Susan, Liz, Chris & Billy.
Gloria took special joy in reminding everyone that nothing is imposible for God! How she was the mere example of God's mercy, as he helped her defeat her life-long fight with alcohol. She always said look at the stars and ask the universe for anything, God will respond! She continued to wish for Norma &Nene, visiting her. Forever joyful she attempted and moved on.. she built beautiful memories with those around her!
She was forgiven for her sins and she in turn, forgave everyone. It was then that cancer struck and within a year she recovered. Socorro, Paloma, Susan and Serena monitored closely. Her health declined. She made amends with God and got saved. She confessed and was anointed before her cancer came back more aggressively. Never came back from the hospitals. Paloma accompanied her. Loving family gathered to say goodbye. God took her from her loved ones, to stop the suffering. Serena, Lucita led prayer in the hospital room. God purified her here to take her to heaven to glorify him, and find the purest most meaningful love of all. She honors her name glorifying God in heaven!
Her passing left behind great despair. Family found each other to grieve. Together grieving long or short lived & most meaningful moments!
Her services were held in San Luis Rio Colorado, Mexico, at Del Valle Funerarias, capilla 3. The viewing was scheduled for Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 5:00 PM. Chris played his guitar with tunes of pure love, while, even on face-time Andres and Chandler joined her good-bye. The next day mass discussed kindness and forgiveness to others. It explained Jesus’s love and how important making amends is, because life is frágil and time is unknown here. Go forgive others and love them, then come back to God’s presence. Front row space was saved for Andres, at the church. By her coffin, stood Ruben, Paloma, holding hands over Gloria with Lucy (Lucita).
Her final farewell at the grave-site, was a beautiful exit from our existence full of Glory and music. It was an farewell surrounded by love, forgiveness, and compassion! The storks in the sky signaling her entrance to heaven above! Gloria will forever be missed and loved!
