Background
My name is Aaron Abronee, and my heart is heavy as I write this. Our mother fought cancer for years. She fought quietly, bravely, and with a strength that still amazes me. On November 23, 2025 she passed away and left behind five children who loved her more than anything in this world.
Through everything she faced, my mother always talked about one wish. She wanted to be buried in Ghana, her homeland, where her ancestors rest and where her spirit always felt connected. She wanted to return home when her journey here was over. She deserved that peace.
My siblings and I want to honor her wish. We want to bring her to Ghana for her final rest. But transporting her internationally, preparing her body, working with funeral homes in both countries, and meeting all the requirements for repatriation is extremely expensive. The total cost for us to bring her home is around fifteen thousand to eighteen thousand.
Our mother raised five children as a single parent through some of life’s hardest moments. She gave everything she had to us. She worked, she sacrificed, and she never complained. Even while battling cancer, she kept loving us with everything she had.
Now it is our turn to fight for her.
We are asking for help to make her final wish possible. No contribution is too small. Even sharing this helps more than you know. We just want to give our mother the dignity, honor, and peace she deserves by laying her to rest in Ghana.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. Thank you for caring. And thank you for helping us bring our mother home.
With gratitude
