Gloria's obituary

Gloria Miller Jones, 71, of Broken Arrow, OK., passed away on October 10, 2020 after a valiant battle with Cancer.

Gloria was born on January 30th to Lloyd P. Miller Sr. & Ardena E. Walker in Tulsa, OK. After graduating from McClain High School , she went on to the University of Oklahoma, then she chose to join the United States Coast Guard, where she traveled to many countries. Gloria also proudly served in Desert Storm.

After the Coast Guard, she landed her first civilian job as a Registered Nurse, kicking off a successful career that she was called to do in life.

Gloria was married to Jim Jones who also served in the military and they had one daughter Rhonda Jones.

After retiring, Gloria enjoyed traveling to different casinos throughout Oklahoma to relax while playing her favorite game of chance. She also loved to go visit her friends and family and enjoy a cup of coffee. She would always be found in good spirits and laughter was her biggest medicine against cancer.

Gloria was predeceased by her parents and her daughter Rhonda Jones. She is survived by her husband Jim Jones, Brothers Lloyd P. Miller Jr, Glenn Miller, Rev. David L. Miller, Stephen A. Miller Sr. and her sisters Patti Smith, Debra Stands And Looksback, Donna Sue Miller and many nephews & nieces.
