Gloria Lafaye Starr was born on October 25, 1962 to Pearlene Cooper Baldwin and A.J foreman in Marianna, Ar.

She was educated in the Helena-West Helena School District. She confessed a hope in Christ at the True Vine Missionary Baptist Church. On Wednesday, August 10, 1988 at 5.15 a.m at University Hospital, God, in his infinite wisdom called Sister Gloria L. From labour to reward.

Gloria was the daughter of ; Pearlene Baldwin Cooper, Her father; A.J Foreman, A husband; Eugene Starr, Mother-in law; Mattie Mae Shears. Two daughters; Shawnkitta Starr and Monekia Starr. Two sons; Eugene Starr and Paris Starr of West Helena; two brothers; Jerryal Culler, Sr., and Roy Jones; three sisters; Annette Culler, Carolyn Hines, Sandra Faye Hines. A host of nieces & nephews and many other relatives and friends that will cherish her memory.
