Gloria Joiner Fossett, 80 of Wilmington, NC passed away on October 15, 2024 after a brief illness. Daughter of the late Norma and William Joiner. Gloria was born in August, Georgia on December 19, 1943.

Gloria was a Retired Registered Nurse and Nursing Instructor at Cape Fear Community College after earning her Bachelors Degree at Augusta College and Masters Degree at East Carolina University.

Gloria always loved animals and enjoyed caring for many cats and dogs throughout  life as her loving pets.

Gloria, wife of the late George Leonard Fossett Jr. and mother to the late George Leonard Fossett III and Denise Cavileer and sister to the late Peggy Spaulding leaves behind her son, William Thomas Fossett (and wife Lisa Parker Fossett) of Rose Hill, NC; grand daughters Jessica Fossett and Danielle Fossett Taylor ( and husband Randy Taylor); son in law Lewis Cavileer and his children Amanda, Jessica and William Cavileer and two great- grandchildren Piper Bradley and Dakota Taylor.
