Gloria's obituary
Gloria Allacar Buencamino passed away peacefully on November 13, 2024, at
the age of 103 in Mandaluyong, Philippines. Born in Malolos, Bulacan on April 29, 1921, Gloria
lived a long and fulfilling life marked by her devotion to her family and her various
interests.
Gloria is survived by a loving family that includes her sister Concepcion Tintiangko;
her children, Gloria Miller and Manuel Buencamino; and her grandchildren
Sheila Vasco, Sharon, Sarah, and Salvador Agustin, Yeye Molina, Michael,
Mia Grace Estrada, and Mae Anne. She was also a cherished great-
grandmother to Catt, Jacob, Jesse, Deziree, Caitlin, Brady, Ben, Aubrey,
Nick, Audrey, Alyssa, Celine, and Miguel, and a great-great-grandmother to
Penelope and Mila. Gloria was preceded in death by her sister Nelly Almario.
Gloria's hobbies and interests were a reflection of her nurturing and creative spirit.
She found joy in going to church, praying the rosary, and engaging in activities such as
puzzles, playing solitaire, creating piggy bank artworks, making atsara, and watching
telenovelas. Each of these activities showcased her love for intricate details and her
enjoyment of quiet, reflective moments.
Her long life was filled with the love of her family and enriched by the simple pleasures
that brought her joy. Gloria's memory will be cherished and remembered through the
stories and traditions she passed down to the many generations that had the fortune to
know her.
