From the time I first knew him over 50 yr ago as a teenager in "The Spokesmen" youth program in Fraser,MI and throughout his adult years, Jeff was an optimistic, free-spirited, yet well grounded man of faith. He committed himself to the study of God's word , to prayer, and to connect warmly with other people. Jeff was a deep thinker with a kind heart. Out of a desire to have others come to know the love of Christ, Jeff could often be found serving in outreach programs, Christian missions, and youth ministry. Jeff was a fun guy who loved to laugh. Jeff loved his family and friends well. He was devoted to his wife , Beth, and to the nurture of his children and grandchildren. He often seemed to have twinkle in his eye. Jeff was a wonderful friend who could reconnect easily after years of being apart. He will forever be missed.

In San Diego in 1980 Jeff taught me how to drive. Throughout the process, including my inability to parallel park, he was easy going and exceedingly patient. He even had me practice driving around the DMV so I would feel comfortable the day of the test. That’s how my husband Tom (one of Jeff’s roommates) and I remember Jeff. Easy going, kind, and a good friend. We were touched reading about the life and family Jeff and Beth created together. Please accept our condolences. The Eppert Family, Tom, Lisa, Amy and Jonathan

Breakfast at our favorite restaurant. We shared a love for their French toast

I first met Jeff Windham through his son Evan. Evan and I were friends from high school. I remember the first time I met Jeff, it was at baccalaureate when Evan and I were about to graduate high school. He said "hi", we shook hands, told me he's Evan's dad, and we just chatted for a little bit and got to know each other. The many years of memories of Jeff I will forever cherish are the fun talks we'd always have together. He was always the best person to have a meaningful conversation with. One of the last things I remember talking to Jeff was at the Zips restaurant when we had an interesting discussion about different translations of the Bible. I also enjoyed seeing him, saying hello, and making small talk with him whenever he'd stop by to shop at Rosauers, which is where I've been working. I genuinely do wish right now that I would have had at least another great talk with Jeff. To me, he was like another dad giving life advice when I feel the need to learn more about life lessons, as well as his point-of-view on things. I'm really going to deeply miss speaking to Jeff Windham. My most sincere condolences, hopes, and prayers go to his whole family. God Bless you Jeff my friend! 🙏
