Personal note from Janice Tietjen

Glenn was very passionate about music and he loved to share his love of it to those who were interested. As a guitar instructor he was patient with his students because he understood the learning process and how best to teach each student. He started his music school with the vision of it becoming a service to the community. Also it was very important to him to do the right thing and that is how he tried to run his school, Natomas School of Music.

As a husband and father he was a good provider for his family.

His second love was building things with his hands and working with tools. As he built his school, he found he had little time to spend on building things at home. The last few years of his life as he looked at retirement he was planning to get back into this interest.
