I remember the day that I invited Glenn, and my good friend, Jude, to breakfast at Panera Bread in Allentown. I was particularly interested in how God was working in their lives. We enjoyed each other’s company so much that we decided to meet every Tuesday morning at City View Dinner in Whitehall. We met together for several years offering encouragement, accountability, and prayer.

One of my favorite memories of Glenn was when I took him out for lunch in Swenksville earlier this year. When we were done with our meal, I placed an order of molten lava cake to take home! As we were approaching my car, I placed the cake on top of the car in order to take Glenn’s walker and place it on my back seat. And… you guessed it… I drove off forgetting about the cake. About a mile down the road, I realized what I had done. So, we turned around, looking for the cherished cake along side of the road, and in the restaurant parking lot. The bad news is that we never found the cake, but the good news is that we had a great laugh!

Jude and I will always remember the many times Glenn opened up his hands and reached out toward us. We knew what it meant. It was time to pray! Just a few weeks before Glenn’s home going, he offered to buy me lunch at Jersey Mike’s in Allentown. Once again, Glenn reached out his hands and offered thanks to our Lord, the One who provides all things! Little did I know that it would be the last time that I would experience that special invitation.

I’ll miss you buddy, until we meet again in our heavenly home!

I was sad when I heard the news of Glenn's passing. Glenn I love and miss you very much. You are a very good friend to my family and me. And you were a wonderful father to your children. Although I have known and loved the whole Miller family since I was a little girl, I only developed a real friendship with Glenn starting in 2013. He truly was a gift from God with his friendship and being a prayer warrior with me. We both shared some similar struggles in life and it was a gift to talk to someone who understood and more importantly genuinely cared. He was so supportive when I lost my brother Al tragically which meant so much. Glenn also surprised me once and showed up at the hillside where I spend every anniversary of my son’s tragic passing. I cannot put into words how much that meant to me. Yes we often talked about you girls and oh how much he loved you, prayed for you and was so very proud of you all! Glenn will truly be missed! He was one of a kind!

I met Glenn at Divorce Care at Bethany Methodist Church. He helped the adults and I worked with the kids. This was years ago and I remember his kindness and willingness to share in helping the adults find closing in their relationship issues.

It is difficult to put into words all that my heart would like to express. I loved my brother Glenn, so very much. We shared a lot of common traits and interests. Though life can be such a difficult road to travel, Glenn was one that would call on the Lord for his help, which was his lifeline because of his relationship with his Creator God and Savior, Lord Jesus Christ. His daughters were his pride and joy, which is so beautifully displayed in photo memories we have been able to go through. Our hearts desire to do all we can to encourage, help, to pray for, and to love you girls until the end of our time here on earth. We are so sorry for your sorrow and grief in missing your Dad, but so thankful that we can already see that God is helping you to relax in knowing that he is at peace with Jesus, and all those that have gone before us.
