Glenn's obituary

Glenn A. Miller Jr., age 62 formerly of Oakland, MD passed away on June 7th, 2020. Glenn was raised in Curtis Bay, MD by his hard-working mother Carole Miller (Holt) and his late father Glenn A. Miller Sr. Glenn was the oldest of 4 children. He left behind his two younger brothers, David Miller and Russell Miller as well as his youngest sister Mary Karopchinsky (Miller). As children, they we're inseperable, always finding new and exciting ways to keep their mother Carole on her toes. They enjoyed spending time together, and creating life-long memories with countless friends over the years. In his teenage years, Glenn found a passion for motor vehicles of all types. Right out of high-school he began working as a Body Shop Mechanic and remained in that field until he retired in Anne Arundle County and Baltimore, MD. There was nothing Glenn couldn't tackle. He was great at computers, anything electrical, and had an immense love for music of all sorts. His music was extremely influencial on others around him.

At 34, he met his future wife, Robyn Miller (Hammer) as they were great friends in the automotive industry. After 2 years of countless laughs, and shared memories, Glenn married Robyn and they decided to start a family together, and moved to Brooklyn Park, MD. In 1993, Robyn brought life to their only son Nathan A. Miller. Glenn was an amazing husband, a loving father, and everyone's best friend.

In his later years, Glenn fought numerous heart attacks and medical problems, and later was diagnosed with multiple forms of cancer. During the last 6 years of his life, Glenn moved to be with his mother Carole and step-father Jack Holt on their hillside property in Oakland, MD. Carole at 78, stepped up to aid her son, and was his sole caregiver and bedside angel while he battled cancer. For countless hours of the day, Carole prayed to the lord, and did everything in her power to keep Glenn comfortable and at peace.

Towards the end of his life, Glenn found joy in sewing and embroidery. He was a real seamstress, and was able to make his mother many speical gifts. A month before his passing, his condition deteriorated rapidly, and he was moved to Moran Nursing and Rehibilitation Center in Westernport, MD. Glenn spent his final days with his immediate family Carole, David, Russel, Mary, and son Nathan. On June 7th 2020 at approximately 7pm Glenn took his final breaths, while comfortable and at peace. He is now with the lord, along with other passed loved ones. He leaves behind countless family members, and life-long friends.

Glenn's body has been donated to the Maryland Anatomy Board per his wishes, in hopes to provide medical research for those in need in the future.
