I am so sorry to hear this. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. He was my 3rd cousin on my paternal Grandmother's side. He was a great gut as much as I remember of him. We all lost contact after our parents passed. Especially our moms who used to play bunco the dice game 2 a month. Those were great times. I know you are greatly missed by all.

Happy Birthday to my Godfather. Love you 💕🎂

Cheers to your 75th in heaven🥂🍻

Glenn, you will greatly missed. I worked with Glenn before leaving for Indiana. His smile and attitude could win you over no matter what kind of day you were having. His work ethic was second to none, we always found a way to get everything done. Doug used to call us "Top Notch Deliveries" Glenn was the top notch. Rest in peace my friend a

Dear Renee and family,
We were so happy to meet you and enjoy dinner together at Kevin and Beth’s wedding. Glenn’s fun loving spirit and kindness lives on through you! This beautiful memorial video captures endearing moments that speak to the depth of your love and loss. Daughters and dads do have a unique and special relationship that you’ll treasure forever. We really enjoyed reading about Glenn’s early little league and continuing Cubs involvement. Our children and now Amelia and Eli carryon this tradition. God’s richest blessings and our prayers as you cherish special memories of your Dad.

Renee, continuing to think about the great times we had with your dad in Ames, especially at the Tip Top and later on in Charles City. I always looked forward to the weekends that he and I were there at the same time because he always had a smile on his face and made sure we had a great time! He will be missed!
Joanne and family....so sorry for your loss. We only met once at yankton during the floods! Enjoyed our time together. May all those memories be of comfort that he loved his life. Hope to see you when traveling again. Hugs and hugs.
Hi Renee, I was so sorry to hear of the passing of your dad. Losing a loving parent is so hard. I watched your video tribute and could tell you and your dad had a special relationship. While watching the video the picture of a baptism popped up and I don't know if it was your baptism or not but at first I thought I recognized the baptismal font and then I saw the pastor - John Sternberg from St. Peter Lutheran Church in Schaumburg, IL. Jon and I attended that church for many years when we lived in Hanover Park and Pastor Sternberg married us! What a coincidence. We will need to chat about that next time we see you.

Renee, you continue to be in my thoughts and prayers! Cousin “Robbie” is right! We had awesome uncles growing up. They were always up for shenanigans, kind and giving, so much fun, and always smiling. That is one thing I always remember when I think of Uncle Glenn...that killer smile. You got yours from him. Keep spreading that cheer and making him proud. I remember you being the apple of his eye, the loving daughter and him the ever loving doting father. He was blessed to have a wonderful daughter!
❤️😘 Cindy

The fondest memory I have of Glenn is his incredibly generous heart. Glenn, as my Godfather, never forgot a birthday, holiday or graduation with a card or gift. I also remember his contagious smile and the way he would greet me the same way every time..... even when I ran into him at Home Depot 6 Months ago....”awwww...Kimmy” he would always say and then finish the greeting with a warm hug.
I know Glenn is in heaven....greeted by his Mom and Dad, Grandma and Grandpa but he will be missed here on earth❤️. Love you cuz/Godfather.

My condolences to the family....I have so many wonderful, fun memories of Glenn with my kids in Ames, Chicago, and trips to Vegas! What a fun- loving guy!! I’ll never forget the laughs we had—one example, seeing Danny Ganz at the Rio w/ Josh and Renee!!! Heaven is a fun place with Glenn and his contagious laugh there!!! He will be missed!! His legacy lives on in Josh and Jake—he taught them to play Craps!!
