Glenda's obituary

Glenda Jean Harrison, 71, of Euless, Texas, passed away on January 31, 2025. Born on May 17, 1953, in Hugo, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Tom and Elizabeth Braddy. The Braddy family moved to Texas when Glenda was in the 7th grade and settled in Euless, where she would remain a lifelong resident.

At the age of 15, Glenda met her true love, John Harrison—whom she lovingly referred to as “Jay.” They were married on June 21, 1975, and spent nearly 50 years devoted to one another. Her passing leaves a void that will be impossible to fill.

Glenda was a dedicated and beloved mother to her three children: Wendi O’Neill, Chad Harrison, and Cody Harrison. She poured her heart into motherhood, whether it was attending games, sewing dresses, or cheering the loudest for her kids. Being a stay-at-home mom was her dream job, and she excelled at it. Of all the roles she embraced—wife, mother, friend—her favorite was undoubtedly Nana. Glenda was a proud Nana to 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, with another on the way. She cherished each one and made it her mission to be present at every event they participated in.

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Elizabeth Braddy, and her sister, Darlene Tyler. She is survived by her husband, John Harrison; her daughter Wendi O’Neill and husband Michael; her son Chad Harrison and wife Kristin; her son Cody Harrison; her grandchildren Michaela Dutton, Bailee Keathley, Hannah, Harrison, and Cross O’Neill, Kenzlee, Blakelee, Heath, Cooper, and Greenlee Harrison; and her great-grandchildren Alejandro, Caiden, and Lawson.

A Celebration of Life will be held on March 9, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Texas Star Golf Course at 1400 Texas Star Pkwy, Euless, TX 76040.
