Glen's obituary

Glen Frederick Wells, Security Supervisor at Flying Horse, died unexpectedly on September 08, 2018 at the age of 40 years old. Glen is survived by his parents Kathy Wells and Larry & Terri Wells; his siblings, Bianca Wells, Christi DeCoteau, Angela Wells-Merson, Trey DeCoteau, Amy Weldy; 19 nieces and nephews; 10 great nieces and nephews; and several close friends.

Glen was born in Colorado Springs, CO on December 27, 1977. He completed his G.E.D and attended Arapahoe Community College in Denver, CO in 2010.

Glen was a devoted friend and family member. He loved spending time with close friends and family. He enjoyed going on walks with his dogs, Ulrich and Romeo. Ulrich and Romeo were his pride and joy. Throughout the years he enjoyed camping with his family in the Colorado mountains. He often spent time practicing Muay Thai and that was one of his true passions. During some of his free time he liked to study Arabic. He was a very spiritual person who took pride in his Catholic faith. He enjoyed snowboarding when he could find time off during the winter. His favorite music artist was Tupac Shakur.

Glen lived everywhere from Grand Junction, CO, Denver, CO, Las Vegas, NV, Colorado Springs, CO, and Seattle, WA. He spent many years looking for the right place to settle down.

Glen passed away at his residence in his hometown. He will be forever remembered as a true and loving family member. He was often known as the guy who would give the shirt off his back to anyone. He brought tons of joy and laughter to many. His favorite holidays to celebrate were Christmas with his family and birthdays. Although, he will be greatly missed, his friends and family know he is finally truly at peace.

There will be a private celebration of life and the spreading of Glen’s ashes. The family gratefully declines any flowers and donations, but prayers and condolences are greatly appreciated.
