Glen "Cookie" Paul Wells, a resident of Denham Springs, LA entered into his eternal rest on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at the age of 76. Glen is survived by his wife of 53 years, Katherene "Katy" R. Reese; his children, Lori Browning(Scott), Chris Wells and Craig Wells(Monica); his grandson, Brandon Davis Browning and granddaughter, Chana Giacone(Brooke). He was preceded in death by his parents Fred Harvey Wells and Mary Esther Alsobrooks Wells, an infant son, Michael Glen Wells. Glen was born on November 29, 1945 in Bogalusa, LA. He joined the Army and served three years in Germany. Worked in the trucking industry for most of his life and a dredging operator the last part of his working career. He loved going out in his boat, hanging out with his favorite dogs and just enjoying his retirement. He loved going to do his crossing guard job at Southside Jr and then after the '16 flood, to both Southside Jr and Juban  Parc Jr.  He spent his final days with his loving wife and the amazing team at New Century Hospice. At his home surrounded by family who dearly loved him. The family is very grateful for the hospice care team; Margie(consultant), Nicole(nurse), Chris(Pastor), Emily(social worker), LaTonya and LaToshia(aides). Dr P. Elhers. Seale funeral home. His wishes were to be cremated, no service or memorial. Family will have a small private prayer at the residence.
