"Butch" was born on November 27, 1953 to Nelson and Victoria Gayer (deceased) and went to be with the Lord on March 7, 2026. 

He is survived by his wife: Patricia "Patty" Gayer. Children: Christopher Gayer, Ryan (Juliette) Rego, Maile Gayer, and Glen (Korey) Gayer. Siblings: Michael (Doris) Gayer, Peter (Arnella) Gayer, Ronald (Celeste - deceased) Gayer, Robert (Jessica) Gayer, and Karen (Alan) Guzman. In addition 12 Grandchildren (10 Girls and 2 Boys), and 11 Great-Grandchildren (7 Boys and 4 Girls). 

"Butch" was deeply loved by his Family and will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and the unconditional love he gave so freely. He leaves behind a lasting mark on the hearts of those who knew him and his legacy will be treasured always. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday April 19, 2026 from 4 PM - 7 PM at Moreno Valley Elk Lodge. Flower arrangements may be delivered to: 12125 Day St v205, Moreno Valley, CA 92557
