Glen's obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of 1st Lt. Glen Dunscombe, I, who left us on April 20, 2026. Born on September 24, 1968, Glen lived a fulfilling life full of warmth, service to his country, and passion for the things he loved most.

Glen leaves behind his mother Mary Catherine, sisters Angela and Michelle Dunscombe, and his children Sabrina,  Mitchell, and Travis Dunscombe, as well as his grandchildren and his 3 dogs. 

After a remarkable career, Glen retired from the United States Air Force in 2010. He demonstrated utmost dedication, passion, and duty to his country. In 2011, Glen embarked on a new journey at the National Aviation Academy, bringing his experience, enthusiasm, and skills to inspire others.

Outside of his incredible work ethic, Glen and  His love for music was undeniably, with Prince topping his playlist. He also enjoyed watching movies, with "It's a Wonderful Life" being his favorite. Glen was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and loved the exhilaration of cheering for them. Blue was his favorite color, a shade that perfectly represented his calm and steady nature.

Glen's departure leaves a void in our hearts. His memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those he left behind. His spirit, embodied in his favorite things and the love he showered on those around him, will continue to enlighten our lives. Glen, you will indeed be missed, but your legacy will carry on.
