I am so sorry to hear about Gladys. It's been 40 years since I used to go over on my breaks at BK and stock the milk at the White Hen for her, but it feels like about 2 weeks ago. Sending love and comfort to Janie and Bob and your families during this awful time.

I JUST HAPPENED TO SEE THIS ON FB.  I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR THAT WE HAVE LOST SUCH A WONDERFUL WOMAN.  GLADYS' HIRED ME @ THE CHEF ON THE SPOT.  MOVING TO FL FROM THE CHGO. AREA IS PROBABLY WHY.  MY HEART IS HURTING.  I WILL BE PRAYING FOR HER FAMILY AND ASK GOD TO HOLD HER IN HIS ARMS.  GOD BLESS YOU ALL.  TEENA ROSS  ELLENTON, FL..

I am so sorry to hear this and sorry for your loss. Gladys was a wonderful person and a great boss. I was just talking about her the other day and saying if she still had her store I would go work season for her. She will be missed.

My sympathy to your family.   I always enjoyed visiting with Gladys at the family reunions that Cora planned in Chicago.   Although, I was an in-law, via her cousin Paul, she always made me feel very welcome and included.    May the love and strength of Jesus surround you at this difficult time.   Blessings, Marianne Scobey
