How you can help

My grandma, or abueli to all of her grands, was a beautiful and resilient woman. She shared 91 years of her life with her favorite people; her family. Though we had her for those beautiful years we weren’t fully ready for this side of grief and death. The total cost of the funeral was quoted at $17k, and we're struggling to come up with the remainder of the money we need to pay for it. My humble Abueli, in her last few years of life tried hard to save her small Social Security checks to help her children with the cost of her funeral. Unfortunately despite her noble efforts, we are still in need of $7,258 for the funeral arrangements. As we know many in our family had little means, we thought it would be easier to set up a memorial fund to allow everyone who is able to contribute, a way to do so. In lieu of flowers, we'd be very grateful for any donations you're able to make to the family to help. We would also like to open it up to any extended family and friends that feel inclined to contribute whatever they can, if they so choose.
