Giovonnie's obituary

Giovonnie Ra'Shaud Hardin, 24 years old, of Gary, IN passed away suddenly on October 12, 2021. He is survived by his mother (Felicia Miller), and father (Glen Hardin), sister (Kyiesha Hardin), great-grandma (Phyllis Miller), grand-dad (Keith Green), grandma (Katherine Miller), as well as other half siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that will miss him tremendously.

He fought very hard until the end. His family is shocked and deeply saddened by his loss. Giovonnie will be cremated in the coming week. 

Giovonnie was born on April, 7, 1997 to Felicia Miller and Glen Hardin in Gary, IN. After graduating from West Side high school in 2016, where he was very proud to have learned the trade of welding, Giovonnie was attending community college with a focus in machine operation. Giovonnie was also employed at Just4Jumps Event Rentals as a Ride and Inflatable Technician, where they referred to him as “Big G” for the past 8 years. He loved his job and making people smile.  He was a bright and kind individual that would give you the shirt off his back, even if it would fall right off you. Some of Giovonnie's' hobbies include: sports games, betting, gaming, and hanging with family and friends.   His family and friends will miss him more than words can say.

There will be a Celebration of Giovonnie's Life held on October 24th, 2021 from 2pm-5pm at 3491 E. 84th Pl, Merrillville, IN 46410. The family asks to please RSVP above on this page.
