Gina was my lovely sister-in-law.  She was, without a doubt, a force of nature.  She was bubbly, exuberant, and constantly on the go.  There was no stopping her as she was always talking, laughing, smiling, and planning something - a party, a trip, something.  Mom Coya always said that Ronnie was the only one who could calm Gina down (well, sort of!) and she was so thankful Gina had Ronnie to love and care for her. We lived in different states but she always kept in touch with me. I'll miss her. I know, though, that big brother Steve, Mom and Dad Coya, and little sister Karen are waiting for her in Heaven.  Gina, Steve told me he'd be one of the stars in the sky, and when I look at the night sky, I know you will be one of the bright shining  stars.  Love you.

I have known Gina since she and Ronnie were dating.  At first I was almost overwhelmed by her vivaciousness (is that a word?), but I soon grew to love her just as much as I loved her soon to be husband.  Ronnie and I had known each other since about the 8th grade in school.  There were several of us from HS and some other friends who developed a penchant for Braves games and we fully availed ourselves of Gina and Ronnie's hospitality when we came to see the Braves play.  Gina was always ready to party with us and we all had great times over the years.  There is already a hole in my heart that time can never heal, only but can only deaden.  I love you, Gina, and I love you, Ronnie.  May the Peace That Passeth All Understanding be visited upon this great family.

I first met Gina when my youngest son was in cub scouts. We were co- leaders of a rambunctious group of boys and together led them up through Webelos. The funniest story was when we were teaching the boys how to garden. The garden was in Gina and Ron’s back yard. Much mulch and plants were distributed all over the yard, we weren’t sure just exactly where, but it was great fun for all. Gina was such an awesome mom and friend. Much Love to all today.

Gina was just like a member of our family. A 4th sis, if you will. She made us all feel so special and loved.  Mom always struggled with her last name. Called her Gina Goya.  We were always correcting. We had a great time when we stayed with them in smryna on the way to Disney world, many years  ago.   You all are in our thoughts and prayers 🙏 ❤️. We love you xoxo

From your ' only cousin ' Debbi...I will miss you but will hold close the memories until we meet again!  You are forever 2 days older than me and my beautiful bridesmaid!  Save me a place up there Gina!
Gina and I met in 7th grade.  We were immediately inseparable. She was so bubbly and welcoming to everyone around her. I felt very special to be best friends with her. We did everything together until my family moved away in 10th grade. We still kept in touch and I came back to Virginia at least once or twice a year and stayed with her and her family. The first thing I did when I retired was go to Smyrna and stayed with Gina and Ronnie. I feel as if a part of me is gone and I miss her terribly. She will always be with me and in my heart forever.

Gina was absolutely amazing! Her bubbly, happy personality always made everyone feel comfortable, whether it was at a scouting event or welcoming you to her home.  When my husband, Rick, passed away in 2014, Gina showed up at the funeral home for his visitation with coffee and donuts for the family. I guess she sensed I was tired and a little stressed.  She stood right by my side as I greeted family and friends.  When there was a little bit of a lull in the line of people, she gently suggested that I go with her for a cup of coffee and a quick break.  She was truly a "God send" at the moment, as I had not even had a chance to take a restroom break.  I will never forget her kindness on this and so many other occasions.  She will be remembered by all who knew and loved her; and to know her was to love her.

Whenever I was around Gina, I found that she was trying to improve my life in some way.  She always had friendly pieces of advice or ideas that I should put into action.  It was always a pleasure to be around her and her family.  Even though Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech have a friendly rivalry in sports, we engineers all have the same common goal.  Thank you so much for warmly welcoming us into your home.  All the love to you and your family and friends in this trying time.

It’s still not registered that Gina has passed on, so unexpected.  She loved her family and will be missed.  Praying for her family to heal.
