Gina's obituary
Gina Marie Favro, born on December 19, 1984, in Willingboro, New Jersey, passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 10, 2024, in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, at the age of 39. Her passing has left an irreplaceable void in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. Gina’s warmth, kindness, and dedication touched the lives of so many, and her memory will continue to be cherished by all.
Gina was raised by her beloved mother, Marianne Favro, with whom she shared an exceptionally close and unique bond. She graduated from Willingboro High School and pursued her higher education at The College of New Jersey. Her passion for teaching led her to a career at Kiddie Academy of Delran, where she worked as a devoted preschool teacher for over 14 years. In her role, Gina was not just an educator but a joy and inspiration to her students and colleagues alike.
Gina’s classroom was always filled with laughter, learning, and creativity. She had a remarkable ability to think outside the box, making each day a new adventure for her students. Her positivity and genuine love for teaching were evident to anyone who had the pleasure of witnessing her in action. Gina’s impact on the lives of the children she taught was profound, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she helped shape.
Gina is survived by her mother, Marianne Favro, and her husband Joe Hassey. She is also survived by her extended family, friends, and the countless children whose lives she enriched as their teacher. Gina’s absence will be deeply felt, but the love and joy she brought into the world will never be forgotten.
