Gina Carr, a loving mother, sister and daughter, passed away on June 26, 2025. She was born on November 26, 1990, and leaves behind a legacy of kindness, warmth, and generosity that will truly be missed. Known for her bubbly, loving, caring and funny personality, Gina brightened up every room she entered and was a beacon of light in the lives of all who knew her.
She is survived by her mother, Brenda Carr, brothers, James and Daniel Carr, and her beloved daughter, Ella Troughtenbough. She was predeceased by her grandmother, Violet LaPollo. In 2025, Gina made a life-changing move to Pine Hill, NJ, where she fell in love with the local charm and the scenic beauty of the Blue Hole.
Gina was a proud alumna of Overbrook High School, graduating in the class of 2004. One of her most cherished life moments was the birth of her child on July 15, 2022. Motherhood was one of Gina's greatest accomplishments, and she adored spending time with Ella and her family, often laying out under the sun, a simple joy that brought her much happiness.
An avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Gina also enjoyed playing games like Uno and Poker. Her all-time favorite foods included peanut butter with marshmallow sandwiches and pizza, and she savored her coffee like a true connoisseur. An ardent music lover, she enjoyed listening to Chappell Roan, Taylor Swift and Paramore.
Gina was a fan of TV shows like 'Criminal Minds' and 'Orphan Black', and among her favorite movies were 'You', 'The Notebook', and 'The Butterfly Effect'. Her favorite vacation spot was Florida, a place she loved for its sunny weather and endless beaches. A lover of exercise, Gina often enjoyed taking long walks.
Her favorite color was pink, a testament to her lively and vibrant personality. Gina's legacy reiterates the lesson she held dear - to always be the best version of oneself. Her loss has left an irreplaceable void, but her spirit will continue to live on through the lives she touched. She was, indeed, one of the bright spots in this world and made it a better place with her presence.
